Croatia’s Prime Minister Zoran Milanović and Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak have today flown out to Azerbaijan where they will sign a memorandum on the establishment of an Adriatic Gas Corridor…
“Croatia will be one of the few European countries which in its territory will have far more gas than it needs. We will be large transporters, as well as exporters of gas after the exploitation project,” said Vrdoljak before heading to Azerbaijan today.
“Imagine Croatia in five years when we have say 15 billion cubic meters of gas, and our needs today are one 3 billion cubic metres – one thing will then happen. Firstly, we will undoubtedly have the cheapest gas in the region. Secondly, we will earn a lot on transportation and the sale of gas, and third, industries that consume a lot of gas will migrate to Croatia, ” said Vrdoljak.
