Croatia to Get Yet Another Shopping Mall

Croatia’s love affair with shopping malls is not losing its spark. With Croatia near the top of the list in Europe for shopping malls per capita, Croatia’s capital Zagreb is about to get another one.
Construction of the Supernova Shopping Centre in the suburb of Buzin has begun, with the mall set to be complete and operational by spring next year. Supernova Holding, who are based in the Austrian city of Graz, are behind the 260,000 square metre mall which will include office space. The first phase of the project, the 30,000 square metre shopping area, is underway. Once complete the mall is expected to employ 200 people. Supernova already have a malls around Croatia, including in the Dalmatian town of Zadar, which has tennents such as Spar, H&M, Zara, Müller Drogerie, Hervis, Elipso, C&A, New Yorker, Humanic, Pittarello and dm Drogeriemarkt.
