A date has been officially set for Croatia’s next Presidential elections…
Croatia will go to the polls and vote on 28 December 2014 for a President who will lead the nation through until 2020. Current President Ivo Josipović will be chasing his second term, and currently is leading the polls. Former Foreign Affairs Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, Milan Kujundžić, Ivan Grubišić, Anto Đapić and Ivan Rude are the other candidates.
If no candidate in the elections secures more than 50% of the votes, a runoff election will be held on 11 January. Should Josipović get re-elected then it will be his last term as the Croatian Constitution only allows a maximum of two terms.
