Croatia water polo team strips for 2021 calendar

ZAGREB, 21 January 2021 – The Croatia water polo team has stripped down again for their annual calendar.

What has become a tradition at the end of the year, the Croatia national team have prepared a gift for their most faithful fans.

The Croatian ‘Barracudas’ swapped the pool for the studio to pose as models for the 2021 calendar.

“When we pondered what theme would run through this year’s Barracudas calendar, we thought it was necessary to put them in a suitably aquatic environment, despite filming in the studio this year. Therefore, we decided to fill the entire studio with water effects and props, and imagined them as heroes emerging from the water… and we sincerely hope, it leads to Croatia to success in the qualifying tournament for the upcoming Olympic Games,” said Ivana Janković, PR manager for the Croatian Water Polo Federation.

This year, through the calendar, the younger generations and sports fans are addressed in a special way, so the calendar includes affirmative messages and photos of the professional staff that has been behind the exceptional success of the Croatian water polo team for many years. Coach Ivica Tucak, assistant coaches of the national team Mile Smodlaka, Sandro Sukno and Igor Pezelj, fitness coach Pero Kuterovac and physiotherapist Damir Luketić feature this year.

The well-established team consisting of photographer Šime Eškinja and make-up artist Sanja Agić made sure that the Barracuda calendar will be the most desirable calendar in 2021 this year as well.
