Croatia were dominant at the event, with Kosović’s fellow countrymen Dilan Mileta and Mauro Luksic finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the individual event. Croatians were also placed in 4th and 5th, which was the first time at a World Championships that the first five places were occupied by one nation.

Croatia also won the team event, ahead of Italy and Slovenia.
