Croatian Actor Weds Half a Century Old Flame After Finding Her in Florida on Facebook

A well-known actor from Croatia has Facebook to thank for tying the knot on Monday in Florida.
72-year-old Otokar Levaj married his childhood sweetheart Dunja Bedenko (70) in Florida last weekend in style. Otokar and Dunja first met at a party in the Croatian capital Zagreb whilst they were still in high school. The couple were in a relationship for one year before they went their separate ways.
More than half a century later, and after two failed marriages, Levaj came across his old flame on social network Facebook. After organising a meeting, love again blossomed between the two during the summer when Dunja, who now resides in Florida, was back in Croatia.
The pair decided to marry in Florida and on Monday tied the knot in Bradenton. The couple celebrated with friends at a restaurant after arriving in a limo.
Levaj is a well known actor in Croatia
Levaj has starred in a number of Croatian TV series and films, including Larin izbor, Crno-bijeli svijet, Stipe u gostima and Zakon ljubavi.
The couple will live most of the year in America.
