Croatian and American Nurses Celebrate 20 Year Partnership

A group of Croatian nurses have been joined by their counterparts from America for the 4th International Nurses Conference, which is being held this week at the Education Centre of KBC Hospital in Zagreb.
“How to improve nursing care quality and efficiency and empower the nurses as leaders in the health care system” is the theme of the 3-day conference, which will also see the Croatian Nurses Association (CNA) celebrate the 20th anniversary of cooperation with nurses from America, the 14th anniversary working together with the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), and the 6th working with the American International Health Alliance (AIHA).
Some of the other topics discussed at the event include, Patient engagement as a foundation for patient satisfaction, What motivates nurses and professionals to do their best, and Nursing and efficiency as a part of the National Health Strategy. The conference, which opened on Monday and finishes today, is organised by the CNA and the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE).
