Croatia has achieved their best ever result at the European Armwrestling Championships and they have one family from Krizevci in central Croatia to thank for that.
Croatia, thanks to the Kogl family, won three medals out of 660 competitors from 26 countries at the 23rd European Armwrestling Championships which ended in Lithuania this week.
Drazen Kogl picked up a gold medal in the right-handed over 40 competition and a silver in the left-handed competition. Drazen’s son Marko picked up a bronze medal in the junior event. Marko’s mother Blazenka, also a member of the Croatian team, competed in the championships. “In the Kogl family we are investing our hopes,” said Croatian Armwrestling Federation President Aleksander Jakovac to sportski.net.
