In a colourful celebration of Croatian culture and tradition, São Paulo, Brazil, is currently home to a exhibition featuring a giant Eastern egg, standing an impressive 2 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide.
This colossal creation is inspired by the renowned ‘Pisanica’ eggs from Koprivnica in Croatia.
Under the patronage of the Central State office for Croats Abroad, this project came to fruition through the dedicated efforts of coordinator Solange Juvella and the artistic talents of Brazilian painters Valéria Koury and Fabiana Stulgys.
Their collaborative work brought to life a stunning display of intricate patterns and vibrant colours, paying homage to the designs that adorn traditional Croatian Easter eggs.
The grand unveiling was graced by the presence of guests including Mr. Tomislav Deur, President of Croatia Sacra Paulistana, and Mrs. Katia Gavranich, President of the Society Friends of Dalmatia.
Situated in the heart of São Paulo on Avenue Paulista, the exhibition offers locals and visitors alike the opportunity to see the creation until March 31st.
