Some more international recognition for quality Croatian cheese…

Culture Cheese Magazine, America’s first and leading magazine devoted to the love of cheese, have listed ‘Dalmatinac’ cheese produced by Croatia’s Paška sirana on its list of the World’s Best 50 Cheeses.

‘Dalmatinac’ is becoming a household name in Europe and beyond, winning accolades, a Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards in 2014 for one,” the magazine writes, before describing the taste as salty, creamy, sweet and herbal.

“The milk used to make the cheese comes from animals that spend their days on Pag, an island in the Adriatic,” Culture Cheese writes.
