Croatian Creations to be Showcased Stylishly in New York

An exclusive, stylish evening showcasing Croatian creativity will be held in New York on April 26, supporting Children’s Home Maslina, Dubrovnik…

“A stylish evening in New York – Croatian Fashion, Photography and Music” promises to be a fabulous fusion of some of the best Croatian creators and creations.

It will feature presentations by the most successful Croatian fashion designer in America, Sylvio Roubertto Kovacic, who specializes in haute couture. Also, Robert Grgurev, President of Startas USA, stylish handmade sneakers produced by Croatian company Borovo of Vukovar.

Croatian journalist and photographer Marijana Marinovic will also be there showcasing some of her beautiful photographic portraits on-screen, while special music remixes produced by the young and talented DJ Petra of Dubrovnik will be played to keep guests buzzing.

The promotion of Croatia, its talent and culture has never been done on this level before and the event will take place in an exclusive and private area on the 18th floor of the Monarch Rooftop.

The mind behind this event is Amanda Grbavac, founding director of Beautiful Croatia, a stylish, online boutique travel website, promoting travel to Croatia, its diverse attractions and delivering exclusive experiences and events.

Now on leave from her former role as a senior communications professional for the West Australian government, Amanda is currently living her dream in Croatia, developing her brand and business full-time.

“I fell in love with Croatia during my studies in the late nineties at the American College of Management and Technology, in Dubrovnik, now RIT Croatia. Ever since I have been dreaming of a way to come back to live my passion. That passion, I discovered, is called Beautiful Croatia,”Amanda says.

“I am happy to be able to present my first international event in a cosmopolitan city renowned for making dreams come true, New York, a home to over a million Croatians. I invite Croatians and friends to attend and experience an unforgettable evening.”

Amanda says her vision is to bring something fresh and exciting to the tourism and events industry in Croatia and for Croatians living abroad, presenting events they can be very proud of, with every event created by Beautiful Croatia also supporting Croatian charities and giving back to those in need.

“Croatia is a beautiful destination that has some of the most creative, talented people I have ever known. I am creating events and experiences to reflect this, showcasing Croatia’s rich culture in a unique, stylish way.
