Croatian designer dresses Cardi B for new Pepsi Christmas commercial

More international exposure for talented 35-year-old Croatian designer Juraj Zigman with his latest creation beamed all over the globe.
American rapper and TV personality Cardi B stars in the new Pepsi Christmas holiday commercial wearing a custom-made blue corset suit made by Zigman.
The advert, which tells the story of “A Cardi Carol”, starts with illustrated versions of Cardi and her sister, Hennessy Carolina. Cardi learns she’s on Santa’s “naughty” list and then comes to life wearing the Croatian designers ice-blue corset suit and see-through PVC heels.
“Yes, it is huge! A really lovely end to a nice and successful year. I knew at the start of autumn I would create the suit for Cardi B for the Pepsi commercial but I had to keep it a secret. The advert was filmed in London and took a week to shoot. My team were with me for one day. As soon as we arrived we had aa rehearsal in the hotel apartment with Cardi B to see if it fitted her,” Zigman told Jutarnji list.
Zigman, who designed outfits recently for singers Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora, says that when he learned about the project, he immediately opted for the ice blue shade, because that colour best reflected the ‘ice queen’ played by Cardi B in the Pepsi Christmas fairy tale.
“They sent me her measurements and I made the suit in my studio in Kostrena (near Rijeka). When I arrived in London with my team a month and a half ago, I was very pleased to see how perfect she was and how my creation fitted so well into this Christmas story.” Zigman said, before adding.
“She has big breasts, a narrow waist and big hips. I like working for her because she just radiates sex appeal. I love working for all the women who know how to wear my clothes and feel comfortable in them. Cardi B certainly is one of those ladies, when she wore my corset, she said that she felt wonderful in it,” Zigman concluded.
