Croatian destination ranked among Top 20 most popular in Europe for 2023 by Tripadvisor

21 January 2023 – Tripadvisor has just published the 2023 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award winners.
The popular travel website has ranked the best of the best across six categories, including best nature destinations, top places for culture, favourite food destinations, best places to ski, the hottest trending places, and the most popular destinations.
One Croatian city has made the awards with Dubrovnik among the most popular destinations in Europe for 2023.
Based on millions of reviews and ratings from tourists, the southern Dalmatian city has come in at No.20 on the list. London was ranked No.1, followed by Rome, Paris and Crete.
“Dubrovnik has recovered from the war damage it suffered during the 1990s, and visitors have returned to this tranquil city. Nestled between the Adriatic and the Dinaric Alps, it’s an accessible and affordable city break for many European travelers. The pedestrian-only Old Town is especially charming,” writes Tripadvisor.
Dubrovnik
Barcelona, Istanbul, Madrid, Florence and Lisbon also made the top 25.
