Croatia’s ‘eternal derby’ between Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split has ended in a 2:2 draw, meaning the gap between the two at the top of the Croatian first division stays at just 1 point. Rijeka in third place failed to make the most of the two sides ahead of them dropping points, and could only manage a 2:2 draw themselves to keep them 7 points off the pace. Split creeped up to join them on third place with a solid 3:0 win over Lokomotiva at home.
