Croatian dress designs on the Oscars red carpet

25 February 2019 – Hollywood stars gathered last night for the he 91st Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Once again the red carpet at the Oscars was graced by some striking dress designs and it was a proud moment for Croatian designer Matija Vuica who had two of her creations on show.
American television presenters Megan Henderson (44) and Megan Telles (29) graced the red carpet at the last night’s Oscars wearing dresses from Matija’s latest collection.
Henderson is the anchor of KTLA News in Los Angeles, whilst Telles is an Emmy Award-winning host also at KTLA News.
Matija credited the popular Ivan Bitton Style House boutique in Hollywood where her dresses are available, writes 24sata.
From Metković, Vuica resides in Zagreb and originally started out pursuing a a singing career. In the 90s her love for fashion transformed into a professional career. Her dresses have been worn over the years by most public figures in Croatian and in particular she is sought for her unique craftsmanship of tailored wedding dresses made exclusively from silk chiffon, taffeta, satin and lace.
