Croatian firm wins €40 million Sweden power line contract 

Croatian firm lands huge €40 million Swedish power project contract 

Croatian electrical and civi engineering firm Dalekovod has landed a massive 40 million euro contract in Sweden. 

Svenska kraftnät, the Swedish national electricity transmission company, has announced that Dalekovod has been selected as the most favourable bidder based on the criteria of the tender for the construction of a new 400 kV power line from Skogssäter to Kilanda, in the vicinity of Gothenburg, with a total length of 43 km.

The implementation of the project, worth over 40 million euros, includes dismantling the existing infrastructure and constructing a new 400 kV line, scheduled from May 2024 to early 2027, Dalekovod has said in a statement today.

Founded in 1949, Dalekovod’s primary activities comprise design, production and construction of electrical power structures, electrical substations, power transmission mains, telecommunications structures, road equipment, railway equipment and street lighting.

Their work has been recognised in over 80 countries.
