“The goal of this campaign is to replace the seats at our stadium to meet higher safety standards, which are one of the requirements for the club to advance to a higher level of competition, and to enhance our communal space,” the club said in a statement, adding.

“Key elements of our campaign and the future of our club include ecological awareness, a focus on children, and the beautification of our shared space for the benefit of future generations in its full glory.”

All existing seats will be donated to schools and sports facilities in the Imotska Krajina area, while new seats will be made from recycled plastic and produced in Croatia.

By donating €20, you contribute funds for the installation of one new seat at the stadium. The names of all donors will be regularly updated and published on their website and social media platforms.

The stadium is named after a nearby church and its place as one of the most beautiful or architecturally interesting stadiums in the world is thanks to its location close to the famous Blue Lake and an Illyrian fortress.

The stadium was built in 1976 in a natural dome in the karst, and the stadium was opened in 1989.
