Croatia’s number one junior tennis player, and winner of this year’s Junior US Open, is preparing for the upcoming season with current world number one Rafa Nadal…
Borna Ćorić, who many predicted with become a future men’s top 20 player, is this week in Majorca, Spain, where he is hitting up with the Spanish legend.
“There is no joking around on court, I would say even that Rafa is a little shy, after training we do not hang out,” Ćorić said about the world’s best player.
Ćorić has taken his whole team, including trainer Ryan Jones, conditioning coach Marino Bašić and manager Lawrence Frankopan to Nadal’s camp in Spain as he starts his preparation for next month’s Australian Open. Borna says that all of his team are learning this week from the best.
“We work two hours a day on tennis and during that time there is no stopping. These two and a half hours are as intense as like five hours of my normal training,” Ćorić said.
