Four men, including one with Croatian connections, were arrested on Monday after turning themselves in after completing a BASE jumping stunt from the top of the 104-story One World Trade Center building last September…
The New York men – Marko Markovich, James Brady, Kyle Hartwell, and Andrew Rossig – were charged with burglary, reckless endangerment and jumping from a structure. New York police said that the arrests would send a strong message to anybody thinking about misusing a landmark in that way.
The video of the daredevils has only just been released, and shows footage of them jumping from America’s tallest building (more than 1,300 feet) back on 30 September last year, after they had earlier broken in to the premise.
