Štetić (above) was presented the award at a ceremony on Friday attended by Croatian President Ivo Josipović, who said that more needed to be done to encourage more business freedom in Croatia.
Managers of the Year in the medium-sized companies category went to Promming Čakovec Director Mihalj Novinščak, and Metis CEO Jerry Pajić, whilst Dragutin Babić from Viskovo firm Euromodul, and Franjo Sabočan from Sabočan-Interijeri in Mursko Središće were named the Managers of the Year in the small companies category.
Best Young Managers awards went to Denis Nemcević from the firm Spider Grupa in Pitomaca, and Matija Hrsak from the firm M.I. Hrsak in Krapina. Management Board chair of the JANAF oil pipeline operator Dragan Kovačević won Manager of the Year in a Public Company, whilst CEO of AquafilCRO, Saša Muminović, was named Manager of the Year in the foreign-owned company category. Ivan Topćić was named entrepreneur of the year.
