The top Croatian heavyweight MMA fighter, Ante Delija, will fight for one million dollars.
Overnight, Delija beat the more favoured Russian Denis Goltsov in the heavy weight semi-final of the third season of the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
The three judges all scored the fight 29:28 in favour of the Croatian after the fight which was held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Delija is now in the 2021 PFL final and victory will see him earn a cool one million dollars. The final for the 2021 PFL final title will take place on 27 October where the Croatian will face Bruno Cappelozza (32, 13-5) who knocked out Jamelle Jones.
Delija will be out to seek revenge on Cappelozza who beat him in the first round.

Originally from Dubrovnik, Delija trains with Mirko Cro Cop Filipović and his team in Zagreb. Back in September 2020, Delija signed a contract with the UFC.
He was due to make his debut on October 17 at an event at fight island in Abu Dhabi but the fight was withdrawn from the card because of Delija did not get the termination of the contract by the PFL.
Now in its third season, the PFL is the first and only to present MMA in the sports-season format where individual fighters compete in Regular Season, Playoffs, and Championship.
