Croatian pizzeria named among Top 50 in Europe for 2023

Franko’s Pizza & Bar, a popular eatery located in the Croatian capital of Zagreb, has once again been recognized as one of the top 50 pizzerias in Europe outside of Italy.
This commendation comes from 50 Top Pizza, one of the most prestigious pizza guides in the world, who held their awards in Barcelona tonight.
Ranked at 43rd in Europe, Franko’s Pizza & Bar is the sole Croatian pizzeria that made the list this year.
The restaurant has secured a place in the ranking for three consecutive years now, having previously been ranked 45th in 2022 and 47th in 2021.

Established in 2019, Franko’s Pizza & Bar has consistently been known for serving the best pizzas in Zagreb, earning a reputation as a go-to spot for pizza lovers.

Meanwhile, the top spot on the list of the best pizzerias in Europe outside of Italy was awarded to Sartoria Panatieri in Barcelona.
Bæst in Copenhagen was named in second place and 50 Kalo London in London taking the third spot.
