Croatian President Undergoes Eye Surgery

The President of Croatia Ivo Josipović has successfully undergone surgery to correct an eye infection he has had bothering him for the past two years…

Josipović went into hospital on Saturday in Zagreb, and the President’s Office announced last night that the 56-year-old had no problems after having eyelid reconstruction surgery, and was at his home where he will be taking it easy for the next few days.

“In the next few days he will be working to less of an extent, but will return to performing regular duties during next week,” said the Office of the President.
