The Croatian Rugby Union is currently enjoying another golden era in the sport.
The national team recently earned historic promotions to the European Trophy division, and also to the elite rugby 7s competition in Europe.
Croatia joins the likes of European rugby powerhouses France, Ireland, Italy, and Great Britain this season in the elite 7s Championship division.
The first tournament will be played from 7-9 June in the Croatian coastal city of Makarska and the Croatian Rugby Union have put the call out for players with Croatian heritage who are interested in wearing the red and white checkers.
Over the years the Croatian national team has featured players with Croatian heritage from the likes of New Zealand, Australia, UK, South Africa and Italy, and are currently led by Croatian-Kiwi Anthony Poša.
If you are born in Croatia or have a parent of grandparent born in Croatia and are interested in representing the country then the Croatian Rugby Union want to hear from you.
