Croatian Scholarship Fund (CSF) awards 40 new scholarships to Croatian University students attending Universities in Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina.
After a rigorous evaluation process of a large number of applications, forty Croatian High School graduates from Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina were chosen to receive CSF’s scholarship.
These are some of the best and brightest young Croatian University students who will now receive $2,500.00 per year for the duration of their university studies, three years of undergraduate and two years of graduate studies.
While in the CSF program, students are monitored and expected to maintain a high GPA and progress with their studies in a timely manner.
CSF was established in 1989 in Northern California, USA and for the past 35 years has provided scholarships to academically gifted and financially deserving Croatian students attending universities in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CSF is recognized by the US government as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is operated by an all-volunteer Board.
Funding for scholarships comes from generous donations and student sponsors, 100% of sponsor donations go directly for student scholarships.
Many of the sponsors are second and third generation Croatian Americans who wish to honor their heritage, especially their parents and grandparents.
Currently, there are about 150 students in the CSF program receiving scholarships. During the past 35 years, CSF has helped hundreds of students achieve a college education.
Many of these students say that without CSF’s financial assistance it would have been very difficult to complete their studies.
“CSF and their sponsors wish all our students well and hope that after completing their studies they remain in Croatia, are successful in their professional life, and contribute to Croatian society.
