Croatian-made smart benches continue their expansion around the world.

After entering the UK market for the first time last month, new Steora smart benches have popped up in Australia.

In July this year the Curtin University Bentley Campus in Perth placed their first Croatian smart benches, now the Yalgorup National Park in Western Australia has their own.

“That’s the picture that we’ve been waiting for – Steora & Kangaroos! Placed in Yalgorup National Park in Western Australia, perfectly fits without compromising its nature. Made by Include, approved by kangaroos,” Solin-based company Include said as they shared the news.

The Yalgorup National Park is located 105 km south of Perth in Western Australia on the western edge of the Swan Coastal Plain and contains a chain of about ten lakes.

Include is the producers of the Steora smart bench, a solar-powered bench with multiple functionalities, including wireless and USB charging, free Wi-Fi, ambient lighting, a cooling system for the seating, and 15 smart sensors.

The small Croatian company has now placed more than 750 benches in over 25 countries, impressive for an idea that was started by young 22-year-old entrepreneur Ivan Mrvoš in his hometown of Solin near Split in 2015.
