Croatian Tourism Film Wins Another International Award

The promotional video of the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ), ‘Ode to Joy’, has picked up yet another award, this time it has won 2nd prize in the “Best Film Under 30 Minutes’ category at the prestigious 45th International Tourism Film Festival in Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic, reports Croatian radiotelevision.

The promotional film ‘Ode to Joy’, showcases Croatia’s spectacular heritage, nature and culture and features famous Croatian cellist Ana Rucner. The film is part of HTZ’s campaign under the slogan ‘Croatia, the New Tourism Star of the European Union’.

Besides this award, Ode to Joy in September picked up two international awards in Serbia and in Romania. Ode to Joy also won the “Das goldene Stadttor”, known as the “Tourism Oscar” in Berlin earlier this year. The film is being shown in markets around the world.
