ZAGREB, 12 Dec (Hina) – The horror-adventure video game Go Home Annie, a captivating blend of suspense, mystery, and paranormal phenomena set in Croatia’s Žumberak Mountains, is now officially available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) announced on Wednesday.
Developed by the start-up Misfit Village, based in the PISMO Business Incubator, the game received support from Lithuanian publisher Nordcurrent Labs and was funded in part by the HAVC through its first public tender for video game production in 2021.
Set in the mystical and enigmatic Žumberak Mountains, players step into the role of Annie, a protagonist exploring an abandoned house.
As they navigate the eerie setting, players confront paranormal entities and unravel the secrets hidden within.
The game is rich with puzzles that players must solve to progress and uncover shocking truths about bizarre experiments conducted inside the mysterious house, according to the announcement.
While the story is situated within the broader SCP universe (a collaborative fictional world), Go Home Annie delivers an original narrative that even the most dedicated fans of SCP fiction will find fresh.
Every element, from the atmosphere to the characters, puzzles, and voice performances, has been carefully crafted to create suspense and keep players on edge.
“The game promises everything horror enthusiasts look for: mysterious entities, paranormal phenomena, and surprises that will keep you in suspense until the very end,” the HAVC said in a press release.
