Croatian youth from around the world will come together next month in Australia to celebrate faith, friendships and the rich Croatian culture at the 9th annual CroCatholic Retreat.
The 9th Annual CroCatholic Retreat will take place this year from 8th – 11th of February 2018 in Sydney, Australia.
“It’s for 18-35-year-olds who have an interest in faith, friendship and enjoying the great Croatian culture we have. It is becoming more popular each year with international guests and many people who participate come from all over Australia and the world. It is great to keep this Croatian community of ours together and learn more about our faith”, Antonia Lisica says.
The event is aimed at bringing the wider Croatian community together and learning more about faith.
“Whether you speak fluent Croatian or know little to none, this retreat has both Croatian and English masses and activities so it is great for all of our youth to get together and engage with our faith”, Antonia adds.
The 2018 event will be lead by guests including Canadian-Croatian Don Damir Stojic, who is back for the second year.
“But don’t forget to bring your box of Napolitanke, your Croatian jersey and your passion for your homeland too as you attend the renown CroNight during the 3-day event. This event will be sure to keep your passion alive for your homeland while participating in activities that will leave you crying from laughter, yelling like our ancestors taught us to while taking part in games, and connect with the national youth community.”
