Croatians rank no.1 for tipping Glovo in the world

ZAGREB, 20 Jan (Hina) – Croatian citizens rank first among the 25 countries in which Glovo operates as to the number of tips given, and the biggest tips in 2022 were given in Šibenik, Čakovec and Rijeka, the delivery app said on Wednesday.
Last year, Šibenik topped the list of cities where Croatian customers gave the most tips (over 23% of all Croatian customers), followed by Čakovec (22%) and Rijeka (21.5%), while Zagreb ranked 11th (19.21%).
Glovo said that in 2022 its Croatian customers preferred American, Italian and Middle Eastern food, and their favourite meals were hamburgers, pizzas and ćevapi.
Croatian citizens are increasingly inclined towards traditional food, up 188% on 2021, and health food (+60%).

Flowers and gifts accounted for 65% more orders than in 2021, as did orders by pet owners (+162%). Most of the orders were made between 10 and 11 am, and on Fridays.
The customer with the highest number of orders in 2022 made a total of 648 orders, while the most expensive order was by a customer from Split, €1,130 for a smartphone.
