Croatians to ring the “Opening Bell” at New York Stock Exchange tomorrow

Croatians are set to open trading at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in New York, announcing the grand reopening of the iconic Delmonico’s restaurant on Wall Street.
In celebration of the reopening of the legendary American restaurant Delmonico’s on Wall Street, which first opened its doors way back in 1827, a staggering 196 years ago, tomorrow, on August 11, 2023, the renowned “Opening Bell” of the New York Stock Exchange will be sounded by the new team behind the restaurant, the majority of whom have Croatian heritage:

There will be live coverage of tomorrow’s (Friday, 11 August) opening of the NYSE, starting at 3:30 PM Croatian time (CET, Zagreb), which corresponds to 9:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST, New York).

The NYSE commences and concludes its trading day with the distinctive sound of its opening and closing bells. Precisely, the opening bell chimes at 9:30 a.m., signifying the commencement of the day’s trading session. Conversely, at 4:00 p.m., the closing bell resounds, bringing the trading activities of the day to a halt.
