Over the weekend KSW 57 was announced for December 19th in Poland and it was revealed that Croatia’s Antun Racic (24-8-1) will make the first defense of his KSW bantamweight title.
The 30-year-old made history last year when he defeated Damian Stasiak at KSW 51 at the Arena Zagreb to be crowned the first-ever KSW 135lbs champion. Hailing from Dubrovnik, Racic is a training partner of Roberto Soldic and has risen to become one of the best fighters in his division in Europe. Overall he has gone 5-0 in KSW since joining the promotion in 2017.
Racic’s opponent for KSW 57 will be revealed in the coming days.
KSW 57 will also feature a heavyweight title clash between champion Phil De Fries (18-6) and resurging Polish veteran Michal Kita (20-11-1) as well as the addition of former longtime welterweight champion Borys Mankowski (21-8-1).
