Emil Tedeschi, CEO of one of Croatia’s largest companies Atlantic Group, has announced that the company in 2013 is planning new investments in Serbia of around five million euros, which will focus on the modernisation of existing businesses they own, but also the possibility of taking over certain companies in Serbia.
Tedeschi would not say which companies they are looking to take over in Serbia because it is a trade secret, but he did reveal that it was in the food industry. Atlantic Group, one of the leading companies in the region, primarily specialises in production and distribution of food products, including sports nutrition products. It has the successful drink brand Cedevita in its stables.
‘So far, all investments that we have had in Serbia had produced good results and was more than welcomed by the local community and employees, I believe that Serbia is a quality place for investment, “said Tedeschi.
