13 August 2019 – Once again this summer, a host of famous faces have decided to holiday on the Croatian coast.
Most celebrities holidaying in Croatia seem to enjoy sailing the Dalmatian coast, popping in to a few of the stunning islands like Korcula, Brac and Hvar along the way.
One restaurant which hosts more famous faces than any other on the Dalmatian coast is Gariful. Located on the very waterfront of the town of Hvar, the restaurant’s excellent position, fish specialities and excellent wine card, have impressed stars over the years like U2 and Goldie Hawn.
Gariful, which in the Dalmatian dialect means a carnation, a flower of reconciliation which symbolises admiration, respect and deep emotions, first opened in 1981 and has been a symbol of excellence on the coast.
2019 has been another year full of celebrity visitors to the restaurant. Last night, Albert II, Prince of Monaco, dined at the restaurant.
