Croatia’s oldest ever bride & groom revealed by the statistics bureau

It’s never too late to tie the knot, and a statistic revealed by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics proves it. 

Walking down the aisle in your 90s might sound unbelievable but there are a number of people who have done exactly that, proving that it is never too late for love. 

According to data from between 1984 and 2017, the oldest bride to get married in Croatia was 92 years of age. The oldest groom was five years older and was 97 years old. 

The oldest ever groom is Harry Stevens, who was 103 when he got married in Wisconsin in 1984. The oldest recorded bride is Minnie Munro (Australia), aged 102, according to the Guinness World Records.
