The two couples had been staying at the 4-star hotel, enjoying meals, fine wine, and the hotel’s wellness facilities, for a few days. One morning they approached the reception to say that they were going to make a trip to see Venice. The four then got into a red A Class Mercedes and never returned, leaving behind an unpaid bill of over 2,000 euros.
