Dario Saric Proud to Represent Croatia at NBA All-Star Weekend Again

Croatian basketballer Dario Saric has been named in the world team for the Rising Stars Challenge which will take place on NBA All-Star Weekend.

The Philadelphia 76ers star has been selected for the second year in a row for the All-Star Weekend matchup between the World and USA.

The league’s annual showcase of premier young talent will be held during NBA All-Star Weekend on Friday 16 February at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Saric, who has again been in good form this season, registering 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Sixers, is proud to again represent his country at NBA All-Star Weekend.

“It’s an honor to be a part of All-Star weekend and to participate in something like that. To represent the world, to represent my country, to have a flag of my country on my jersey, for me it means a lot,” Saric said. “Maybe I cannot bring tourists to visit to Croatia, but in some way, I can represent my small, beautiful country.”

The rest of the World roster also includes Bogdan Bogdanovic (Kings), Dillon Brooks (Grizzlies), Buddy Hield (Kings), Lauri Markkanen (Bulls), Jamal Murray (Nuggets), Frank Ntilikina (Knicks), Domantas Sabonis (Pacers).
