Dea Maretić First Runner-Up at World Top Model Contest in Rome

Dea Maretić, winner of World Top Model Croatia 2015, which was held in Zagreb in October, has finished first runner-up at the World Top Model contest in Rome which was held at the Sheraton Parco de Medici Hotel last night…

The World Top Model competition, which this year celebrated its 25th anniversary, saw male and female contestants from over 40 countries compete for the 200,000 euro modelling contract prize with Major Model Management.

Dea, whose sister Mia beat 200 girls to win The Look Of The Year 2015 in Italy earlier this year, impressed the judges to finish just behind winner Miriam Núñez from Mexico. Dea is on the books at Zagreb’s Talia model agency.

“I am extremely pleased and very proud that the jury recognised Dea as a top model and I am certain that this is only the beginning of her successful career. Dea, although still very young, has a remarkable talent, perspective, confidence, femininity and special beauty,” said Sandra Šerbec, owner of the World Top Model licence for Croatia.
