After five group matches in the UEFA Europa League, Dinamo Zagreb has already won Group K with 11 points. In those five games, Dinamo has scored 6 goals and conceded 0.
After 450 minutes in this season’s Europa League, Dinamo Zagreb is still yet to conceded a goal. In the last group match, against CSKA Moscow on Thursday night in Zagreb, the Croatian champions have the chance to write themselves into the history books.
No club in either the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League in their current format has gone through the group stages without conceding a goal. Dinamo has the chance to be the first.
In the Champions League, no club has gone through all group matches with a clean sheet. Clubs like Barcelona, PSG, Monaco, and Manchester United have come close conceding just one goal.
The closest in the Europa League have been RB Salzburg (2017/18 season) and Standard Liege (2011/12 season) who went through the group stages conceding just one goal, HRT wrote.
