Dinamo Zagreb Sack Coach, New “Old” Coach Appointed

Losing the local city derby on Sunday night was the nail in the coffin for Dinamo Zagreb football club coach Ante Cacic as he was sacked on Monday evening by the club’s board.
Cacic will be replaced by Croatian assistant coach Krunoslav Jurcic. It will be the third time that Jurcic has been on the bench at the Maksimir club. Jurcic himself has been on the receiving end of a sacking from Dinamo’s board, last year after Dinamo Zagreb’s heavy 7-1 home loss to Lyon he was shown the door.
Although Dinamo top the domestic league in Croatia, Dinamo was knocked out of the cup by Zadar. They are yet to register a point or a goal in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
