One Brazilian number 10 has departed Croatian football champions Dinamo Zagreb, only to be replaced by another on Wednesday when Cleyton Alexandre Henrique Silva signed for the Maksimir club…
Cleyton is seen as a replacement for controversial midfielder Sammir, who departs the club for Spain in the summer after falling out with management. Cleyton, who also has Greek citizenship after spending more than 7 years playing there, comes to Dinamo Zagreb from Kayserispor in Turkey, where their coach, former Dinamo Zagreb player Robert Prosinečki recommended the 30-year-old.
“My old coach at Kayserispor, Robert Prosinečki, told me nice things about Dinamo Zagreb, and about the capital of Croatia Zagreb. He helped me decided to come to Dinamo. He said that it is an excellent club,” said Cleyton as he put pen to paper yesterday.
