Dinamo Zagreb to play Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Dortmund in Champions League

Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb learned their opponents in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League after the draw took place today at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Dinamo Zagreb qualified for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League after beating Qarabag 5-0 on aggregate.

New UEFA Champions League Format

The UEFA Champions League has been revamped for the 2024/25 season with major changes.

The traditional group stage has been replaced by a single league phase that includes all 36 participating teams.

Under this new format, each club will play a minimum of eight matches, facing different opponents in four home games and four away games.

Dinamo Zagreb’s opponents 

Dinamo will face Bayern Munich away, Borussia Dortmund at home, Arsenal away, AC Milan at home, Celtic at home, Salzburg away, Monaco at home and S. Bratislava away.

The top eight teams in the league will move directly to the knockout stages, while teams finishing between ninth and 24th place will compete in a two-legged play-off for a spot in the last 16.

Matchday 1: 17-19 September 2024.

Matchday 2: 1/2 October 2024.

Matchday 3: 22/23 October 2024.

Matchday 4: 5/6 November 2024.

Matchday 5: 26/27 November 2024.

Matchday 6: 10/11 December 2024.

Matchday 7: 21/22 January 2025.

Matchday 8: 29 January 2025.
