With one match still remaining, Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb has won their UEFA Europa League group.
A 0-0 draw away to Turkish club Fenerbahce means Dinamo moves to 13 points, 5 points clear of Fenerbahce in second place with just one round left.
Dinamo Zagreb secured their spot in the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League earlier this month when they beat Slovakian side Spartak Trnava 3-1. It is the first time the club has advanced to the playoff stage of a European competition since 1970 when they reached the quarterfinals of the Cup Winners’ Cup.
Dinamo has been dominant in Group D, winning their opening four matches in a row. First was a 4-1 thumping at home of Fenerbahce, before wins against Anderlecht (2-0) and home and away wins over Spartak Trnava (2-1, 3-1).
Dinamo will face Anderlecht in Zagreb in the final group match before the draw for the last 32 is made on 17 December. The four best third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage will join the top two teams from each Europa League group in the draw.
The first legs will be played on 14 February, and the second legs will be played on 21 February 2019.
