Ed Sheeran will visit Croatia for the first time on Saturday, 10th August, to perform a concert at Zagreb’s Hippodrome.
The event will be opened by one of Croatia’s biggest music stars, Dino Jelusić.
For this special occasion, Dino is preparing an acoustic set and feels honoured to have been invited to open the biggest concert in Croatia this year.
“It was a great honour to receive the invitation to open for the most successful pop artist of the past two decades, and to do so in my own city. It’s been a while since I’ve done acoustic concerts, so I’ll be preparing a bit differently, and the atmosphere will be different from a typical Jelusić concert. See you on Saturday at the Hippodrome!” Dino stated.
This news follows a successful year for Dino, during which his band, Jelusick, won a Porin award for Best Rock Album of the Year with their debut release, Follow the Blind Man. They promoted the album with sold-out concerts and festivals across Europe and South America.
Interestingly, Dino will perform two concerts on two hippodromes on Saturday.
Following his opening act at Zagreb’s Hippodrome, he will perform with his band, Jelusick, later that evening at the Sinj Hippodrome in a concert commemorating the late musician Branimir Vugdelija.
Tickets for Ed Sheeran’s concert are still available through Eventim. For upcoming Jelusick concerts, visit the website.
