Dubrovnik Kicks Hobbiton’s Ass!

The Croatian town of Dubrovnik has been listed as the Most Popular Movie Landscapes You Can Totally Visit, by BuzzFeed, a website and viral content platform with over 80 million visits per month. Dubrovnik topped the list of 19 landscapes, leaving behind the extremely popular film tourist location of Hobbiton in New Zealand in its wake.
Dubrovnik – location for popular series Game of Thrones
The popular Croatian tourist destination has become even more popular since providing location for King’s Landing in the popular tv series Game of Thrones. Second on the list is the Ohio State Reformatory, which acted as Shawshank Prison in the 1994 hit film Shawshank Redemption, while the imaginary Hobbiton village, built-in Matamata, New Zealand as location for the Hobbit Trilogy by Peter Jackson, is currently third on the list.
