The traditional season-ending feast in Dubrovnik has been held on Sunday, 21 October.
Dubrovačka Trpeza (Dubrovnik Table) is a traditional event held to mark the end of the tourists season and it took place once again in the heart of Dubrovnik.
A large number of local hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and vineyards took part in this year’s Dubrovnik Table, supplying treats and culinary delights which were laid out on a dining table which was close to 200 metres long on the city’s famous Stradun.
A large number of people turned up today and they had the opportunity to purchase food at symbolic prices – 35 kuna for a portion of food and 15 kuna for a beer, wine or juice – with all money raised again going to charity.
More than 77,000 was raised for the Down Syndrome Association of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the Association of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Rina Masera.
The traditional Dubrovnik Table took place on the last day of the fifth Good Food Festival Dubrovnik 2018. A musical performance by the Subrenum klapa multipart singing group and a folklore performance by the St. George Cultural Arts Association from Osojnik entertained visitors during the day.
