Dubrovnik named one of most Instagrammable places in the world for 2022

The world is full of breathtaking places and Instagram often provides inspiration for travellers as amazing locations pop up on their feeds.
Using a comprehensive scoring system that analysed the number of hashtags per destination, sample survey results of their 1.5 million audience, and their global editorial team, Global travel site Big 7 Travel have ranked the most Instagrammable places in the world.
“The Top 50 includes 50 destinations on nearly every continent; from major cities such as the cosmopolitan capital Buenos Aires, the pastel-coloured streets of Paris to the thousands of towering limestone islands of Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. Other Instagrammable places in the Top 50 to add to your ‘must-visit’ include Istanbul in Turkey and Dublin, Ireland,” Big 7 Travel said.
In the Top 50 there is one Croatian destination – the popular city of Dubrovnik.
“When a destination gets as much attention from movie-makers as Dubrovnik does, you can be confident the aesthetics are going to live up to expectations. The famous Game of Thrones filming locations is packed full of UNESCO World Heritage sites, fairytale forests and colourful palaces,” Big 7 Travel writes.

Singapore was ranked the No.1, with Boracay, Philippines, Oahu, Hawaii, Tokyo, Japan and New York making up the Top 5.
This is the 4th year that Big 7 Travel has revealed the world’s most Instagrammable destinations; Sydney came in at No.1 for both 2019 and 2020, while Japan took the No.1 spot for 2021.
