Dubrovnik Riviera, Zagreb & Lika tourism promo videos awarded in Berlin

7 March 2019 – Dubrovnik-Neretva, Zagreb & Lika-Senj tourism promo videos have all been awarded at the world’s leading tourism fair in Berlin today.
Promo videos ‘Dubrovnik Riviera’, ‘We Love Zagreb’ and ‘Visit Lika’ won prestigious Golden City Gate awards in the ‘Best Regional Film’ and ‘City International’ categories at the International Tourism Film, Print and Multi Media competition at the 53rd ITB Berlin.
‘Abu Dhabi: Your Extraordinary Story’ took out the main Diamond Award, whilst two other promo videos from Croatia win silver awards – Dubrovnik Riviera (Regional) and We Love Zagreb (City International) won silver awards.
A new tourism promo video showing off Croatia’s Lika-Senj County won a Golden City Gate bronze award.
The promo video, which showcases places in the county like Brinje, Perušić, Otočac and Gacka, Smiljan, Gospic, Senj, Karlobag, Vrhovine, and Zrće, was produced by Balduči Film from Zagreb and was directed by 3-time Emmy award winner Bobby Grubić and produced by Spomenka Saraga.
The International Tourism Film, Print and Multi Media competition has taken place since 2001 at ITB Berlin with 148 tourism promo films in the competition this year.
An international panel of judges, featuring 45 experts in tourism, marketing, film, PR, advertising and music decided on the winners in each category.
The ITB fair is the world’s leading tourism industry fair. Over 180 countries are present at the fair, and more than 150,000 visitors visit it annually. It is estimated that over 7 billion euros worth of jobs will be contracted during the fair.
