Dylan Moran to headline summer comedy festival in Šibenik

22 March 2019 – Irish stand-up comedian Dylan Moran will return to perform in Croatia this summer.
Moran, who is best known for co-writing and starring in the popular UK sitcom Black Books, and his work with Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run, will be performing at the Comedy Fortress Festival which will be held from 12-14 July at the St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik.
Moran is headlining the festival, which will also feature a number of other comedians, including Jimeoin, Shappi Khorsandi (Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats), Nish Kumar (The Mash Report) Rose Matafeo (Funny Girls), Olga Koch, Kai Humphries, Javier Jarquin and local acts Vlatko Štampar and Nikola Silić.
In 2010, Moran was voted the 14th greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups. He was also named “the greatest comedian, living or dead” by the French newspaper Le Monde, andtwice won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Situation Comedy, both for Black Books.
