€30 Million Pie Awaits Croatian Firms

Croatia’s Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds has confirmed that it will be the first major tender for Croatian businesses since the country became an EU member on 1 July this year. The EU, through its Operational Programme for Regional Competitiveness, will fund projects up to a total of 60% to try to strengthen small and medium-sized businesses in Croatia.
A serious part of the pie will be earmaked for small and medium-sized companies in the tourism industry, to help strengthen the competitiveness of industry and to develop better services in an area that means a lot to Croatia and its economy. By March next year, projects accessing EU funds in Croatia is expected to reach 780 million euros.
